2019 Acura MDX A-Spec for sale at Orr Motors, 6230 Hazeldean Rd, Stittsville (Ottawa). All wheel drive three-row SUV, 3.5L V6, 9-speed automatic, Black exterior, seats 7. Certified, financing available.

A-Spec is the sporty MDX, with its own front fascia, gloss black and dark chrome trim, bigger exhaust tips and 20-inch Shark Grey wheels on wider tires. This one is Black, and the kilometres are very low for a 2019. A good fit for a family that needs seven seats but does not want to give up a car that is actually enjoyable to drive.

It runs the 3.5L V6, 290 horsepower, through a 9-speed automatic with paddle shifters, and the A-Spec gets Acura's SH-AWD, which can send power side to side across the rear axle so it pulls itself through corners instead of pushing wide. In an Ottawa winter that same system is what keeps it settled on a snowy on-ramp. It is a big three-row SUV, so nobody is going to call it a sports car, but it drives smaller than it is.

Inside are sport seats in leather with black Alcantara inserts, heated and ventilated up front with driver memory, Alcantara door inserts, sport pedals and A-Spec gauges. Navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the premium audio system, SiriusXM, a power moonroof, power liftgate, remote start, push-button start and a heated steering wheel. AcuraWatch covers the driver assistance: adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, lane keeping assist and road departure mitigation, plus blind spot information with rear cross traffic monitor, parking sensors and the backup camera.

Financing available for all credit situations. Get pre-approved at orrmotors.com.
