It is the 2.4L i-FORCE turbocharged four with an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. Toyota dropped the old V6 for this and a lot of people were sceptical until they drove one. The turbo four makes its torque low down where a truck actually uses it, and it is noticeably easier on fuel than the engine it replaced.

TRD Sport is the on-road-biased one: the sport-tuned suspension, the hood scoop, the bigger wheels, and the TRD badging, without the off-road hardware you would never use. Double cab means a real back seat. Tacomas hold their value better than almost anything else in the segment, so if you have been watching prices around Ottawa, Kanata, Stittsville or Nepean you already know they do not sit around.

We are a family shop on Hazeldean Rd and we have been at this since 1962. No pressure, no surprise fees, nobody following you around the lot.
